In addition, as the only type of hyaluronic acid, it activates fibroblasts’ CD-44 receptors for the biosynthesis of collagen and elastin, supporting the structural reconstruction of the skin. Thanks to its content of amino acids, the fundamental building blocks of proteins, it effectively influences the regenerative processes, hydration, elasticity and overall quality of the skin.
